Dên-sêse Bî (/ˈaʤa/ /ˈsɘse/ [brief] [tour]) is a subtropical Town located in the Ko-13nhun Zone of the Union of Engineers.

The name Dên-sêse Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Dên-sêse Bî was founded by Nendes Brêgfêbe, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Dên-sêse Bî has a yearly average temperature of 24°C (75°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Dên-sêse Bî receives an average of 203 cm/y (79 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the fall. Dên-sêse Bî covers an area of nearly 6 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 4458 m (14625 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Dên-sêse Bî was founded durring the early 14th century in spring of the year 1300, by Nendes Brêgfêbe. The establishment of Dên-sêse Bî suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Dên-sêse Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dên-sêse Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Dên-sêse Bî is is constructed arround a series of narrow cobblestone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Astonishigly, the peasent-grade are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Dên-sêse Bî gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Dên-sêse Bî brings to mind.

Dên-sêse Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Dên-sêse Bî's natural decorations nor waterways.

Dên-sêse Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Dên-sêse Bî has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Dên-sêse Bî's locals despise outsiders. For some “outsiders” may be natives of foreign lands, while others might have a grudge against anyone from outside the community. These locals have an active loathing, and the outsiders allowed to trade or interact with them do so at a heavy disadvantage.

Dên-sêse Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
